Children that are removed from their parents and an inappropriate living condition will go through the same emotions as if their parents have died. We do everything we can to help the child adjust and feel loved and that they belong. This can be a challenge. Some children have difficulty bonding and some may never bond.

One thing we have found that has made all the difference in the World is BMX training and competition. If you could just see the kids eyes light up when they are introduced to the program. Their scared, sad faces change to smiles and giggles immediately. Sure, we find kids who are clueless and reserved at first but it always ends with the same result. Just if only for the moment, all their worries and concerns seam to disappear. It has proven to be an incredible tool for emotional healing and self confidence.

Our program provides a 650 foot practice track, a range of bikes sized for children 4 years old and up, safety equipment (helmets groves and shirts) professional clinics and shuttle service to and from the practice facility as well as racing events. All free of charge. I would like to point out that the bikes our program uses are professional quality racing bikes. We strive to provide every advantage for success for these great kids. We don’t currently have enough bikes or safety equipment to go around but with help I know we will be able to accomplish our goals.

WHO WE ARE

We have been serving special needs children in foster care for over 6 years. We have never, nor will we ever, turn any child away. Our mission is to provide a forever family to special need children who have suffered the effects of Neglect, Physical abuse, Sexual abuse , Starvation, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Fetal Cocaine Syndrome, Failure to thrive, Malnutrition and so on.

On May 23, 2011 we have officially begun our With Love Left Over INC. charity. We will develop a free housing community for families fostering and fostering to adopt these special needs children. Our Focus will be on family. We believe these children have suffered enough without being passed from one strange house hold to another. This gives them the feeling of not being wanted and creating a lack of self worth. That’s why we view our homes as forever family homes. These children have need for ongoing healing from physical and mental trauma. Our main tool that assures this heeling is simply love. We treat all children as our own in all respects. They experience all that a normal, happy family has to provide. Many of the things we all take for granted these children have never had. Birthdays parties, Christmas gifts, going to Church, having beds to sleep in or eating at the family table, just to cover a few. We have another really cool tool that helps healing, BMX training and completion. We have built a 650 foot long BMX track and we provide professional quality racing bicycles, equipment and training to children in foster care. Our program also includes transportation to local and state events. We have an ambitious program and desperately need your support.
